About Steven
Hello! I am a Geotechnical Engineer who is passionate about helping high school students grow in confidence, improve their grades, and realise they’re capable of more than they thought.
I’ve been tutoring Calculus and Physics for over 8 years. I really enjoy helping students make sense of things that once felt confusing by starting from the basics and building things up clearly.
Over the years, I’ve worked with many students who’ve gone on to study at top universities such as Brown, Princeton, and Imperial College London.
My sessions are casual, friendly, and informative. If you’re looking for someone easy to talk to, patient, and serious about helping you improve, I’d love to work with you.

I believe in order to truly excel in math and physics, one must understand the fundamentals behind each concept and establish a firm foundation. So in the case when a student is struggling with a concept, I will make sure the student understands the components which build up to the newer concepts before explaining the concept itself. This way, the student can know when and how to use such a concept in the exams.
