About Emma
I’m someone who genuinely loves problem solving and learning new things, it’s part of why I enjoy tutoring so much. Outside of teaching, I’m a passive beekeeper, a gamer, and a fan of classic literature. I’ve been tutoring in various subjects for a while now, and I always try to make learning approachable and fun. I live in a very lively house with four cats and a dog :)

My lessons typically begin with a quick review, followed by step-by-step explanations, practice questions, and time for any questions you have.

Emma tutored me through the end of highschool and start of university when I needed help with math the most. Her teaching style worked perfectly for my learning style. Great visual and descriptive language when it comes to teaching. Always felt smarter by the end of it!
I’ve always had a hard time learning math but Emma always helps me understand at my own pace. Because of that I’m able to effectively implement my learning into my school assignments and exams. I’ve had a few other tutors but Emma’s been the best by far!
