About Taewon
Hi! My name is Taewon Park, and I’m a cellist based in Los Angeles. I’ve been playing the cello for over 10 years, and I’ve also been teaching students of all levels—from complete beginners to those preparing for university entrance auditions. I recently completed my master’s degree at the USC Thornton School of Music and am preparing to pursue a PhD. My training as a classical musician has given me a strong technical foundation, but what truly motivates me is helping others discover their own love for music. In my lessons, I don’t just focus on technical skills—I also try to share why I love the cello and what drew me to it in the first place. I believe that when students connect emotionally with the music, they grow faster and enjoy the journey much more. If you study with me, I’ll help you build confidence, develop solid technique, and deepen your musical expression—all while making the process fun and rewarding.
