About Sally
I'm a recent graduate of UTAS with a passion for understanding the world around us, but particularly the life sciences.
I've briefly tutored one early secondary student in science whilst I was a live in nanny with them, mainly through assisting with assignments and teaching how to utilise the resources available. I also undertook teaching my young nephew (4/5 y.o.) in simple sciences as well as basic math and English.

I'm passionate for the subjects that I can teach and understand that a solid understanding of a subject is necessary to be able to simplify that subject for easy teaching.
For me teaching needs to be a process by which students are allowed to make and learn from their mistakes whilst being able to ask whatever questions they may feel is relevant as those are the answers that can help them draw connections between what they're learning and already know.
I have little theoretical knowledge of correct teaching methodologies, resources or what the current curriculum for each year is, but would be willing to put in the time to find out.
