About Lorena
The reason I started practicing was purely physical due to severe back pain caused by my scoliosis. With time and a lot of practice, I began to experience a lot of benefits, not only physical, but also mental. For this reason, practicing yoga ended up becoming a lifestyle for me.
I decided to deepen my knowledge in 2020, completing my first certification as a yoga teacher in a school in India. Also, given my own experience in improving my physical health, I wanted to learn more about anatomy and biomechanics in order to better understand my practice.
When I felt ready, I took the step to transmit my knowledge to other people and I think it is one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had.
My studies in yoga are:

The classes are adapted to the level of each student since a previous study is made of their abilities, needs and goals.
They can be focused on the yoga method or simply on improving posture, flexibility or mobility. The different postures and sequences are analyzed to better understand them.
My goal as a teacher is for students to become aware of their body, that is, to understand how it works and to give meaning to their practice.
