About Sheyne
Tutoring in art takes a special quality where you can connect with the student and guide them to see things quickly.
Since art is a very subjective form of creation , the goal of art tuition is to master the basics, or learn enough of the basics to progress. Hand Eye coordination is the first focus then you progress slowly to allow imagination to direct the hand.
Along the way I point out all the different ways of getting to an outcome and the possibilities of a medium.
I excel in showing possibilities of a medium across the board in painting, mixed media and printmaking.
When you begin in art at any age it is all about learning to see properly and clearly, keeping it simple then building from your base.

I have been a Professional Visual Artist and Workshop tutor for over 25 years. The workshops which I have designed, yield an incredible quality of output and reward. I direct students into learning things fast and direct. It’s a real hands on process of learning.
The lessons I can tutor are a range from beginners to experienced.
These are for all ages but especially for those who are trying to get into art school or are trying to further themselves into exploring new methods and techniques
Length of a lesson is around 55 minutes , with 2 to 3 demonstrations then a working session where the student makes something then we discuss and critique.
