I'm Vivek D V, a recent graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from Government Engineering College Idukki. I've worked on real-world programming projects, including an internship where I built a chatbot system using Python and PHP, and co-authored a published research paper involving machine learning. I've also worked with SQL and databases through academic and personal projects. I enjoy breaking down programming concepts into simple, logical steps, since I remember how overwhelming coding felt when I first started out. I want to help students move past just copying code, toward actually understanding how and why it works, so they can code confidently and independently.

I teach C, Python, and SQL to students at all levels, from complete beginners to those looking to strengthen their existing skills. My approach focuses on understanding logic and problem-solving first, before diving into syntax and code. Each class combines clear explanations with hands-on coding practice, since programming is best learned by doing, not just watching. For practice problems, I often work through the first few together with the student, explaining my thought process step by step, and then let the student try the remaining ones independently while I guide and support them when they get stuck. This builds real confidence and helps students actually retain what they've learned, rather than just copying code. Lessons are flexible and online, tailored to your pace and goals, whether that's building a strong foundation, completing coursework, or working toward a personal project.
