About Meher
Hi, I’m Meher, a software engineer with 6+ years of experience in mobile and web development. I’ve worked at Walmart Global Tech on apps used by thousands of people and earned the Susan M. Merritt Award for Academic Excellence in Computing at Pace University. I also enjoy tackling challenges outside of tech, from winning entrepreneurship awards at hackathons to earning state‑level medals in karate. I’m genuinely passionate about making complex ideas feel simple and helping beginners gain confidence with coding and problem‑solving.

I teach coding in a calm, friendly way, starting from the basics and building up step by step. For Python and JavaScript, I explain each concept simply, then we immediately practice it through small exercises or mini‑projects so you learn by doing, not just listening.
A typical lesson starts with a short recap of what you learned last time, then a focused topic (for example: variables, loops, functions, or working with APIs), followed by hands‑on coding. We share the screen, write code together, and I show you how real developers think as they debug and improve their work.
What sets me apart is my real‑world experience as a Walmart software engineer and my strong academic background as an award‑winning Pace University graduate. I bring examples from workplace projects (mobile apps, web apps, and cloud) to show how the skills you learn in class connect to real software used by thousands of people.
