About Raphael
An engaged and engaging tutor, I have many years' experience teaching English Literature and Language, Creative Writing and ESOL in a range of settings, from schools to prisons to universities in the UK and overseas..
I have a PGCE in Secondary English, Level 5 in Adult Literacy, TEFL Cert; and valid DBS on the gov.uk update service.
I am currently working 1-1 with SEN students, the home-schooled and those excluded from mainstream education. My strengths are in English in all its forms and at all levels, but can be called upon to tutor up to GCSE in Maths in an emergency!
