About Ajay
I am a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics and over 7 years of experience helping students succeed academically. I am passionate about education and take pride in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable, so I aim to make my lessons engaging and interactive rather than repetitive or stressful. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hobbies such as collecting Pokémon cards and playing sports.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their confidence and make learning a more positive experience overall.

I take a personalized, step-by-step approach to tutoring, making sure each student truly understands the “why” behind concepts instead of just memorizing formulas. With over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, I’ve helped students of all levels improve their grades and build confidence in their abilities.
A typical lesson starts by identifying problem areas, followed by clear explanations, guided practice, and then independent problem-solving to reinforce learning. I also focus on teaching problem-solving strategies that students can apply in tests and exams.
My lessons are for students in Grade 5–12 math and Grade 11–12 physics and English for any level, whether you’re struggling to pass or aiming for top marks. What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex topics into simple, understandable steps and adapt my teaching style to each student.
