About Ruby
I am a guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience working with students who have learning differences such as ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety. Holding a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music (Guitar), I blend my musical expertise with knowledge from music therapy and special education. My teaching style is adaptive and strengths-based, focusing on each student’s unique abilities and learning pace. I create lessons that are flexible and supportive, helping students feel comfortable and motivated. By using tailored strategies, I guide learners of all levels to build skills and confidence in their playing. My approach encourages creativity and expression, while also addressing challenges in a positive way. Whether beginners or advanced players, my students benefit from a safe and encouraging environment where progress is celebrated. I believe music has the power to empower and inspire, and I’m dedicated to helping every student find success through guitar.
