About Shaylet
Hi there! I'm Shaylet I'm a native English speaker from South Africa and I've worked as a teacher in three different countries in Asia; Vietnam, China and Thailand.
I love to traveling and exploring new cultures. In my spare time I watch movies and do research different topics on the internet. I also enjoy trying out new restaurants, coffee shops and shopping.
I have traveled around Asia and I've done a lot of fun things like sea walking, paragliding, playing with elephants, pandas and monkeys. I've also eaten some unusual things like scorpions, live octopus and pig's brain!
Teaching is my true passion and it has allowed me to see the world!

I provide a placement test with a gap analysis that shows your level and the areas in which you need to improve your English. This helps us create a personalized course structure. The classes are also heavily conversation based. I ensure that my students get a lot of speaking time and can express themselves confidently and creatively. The short term goals of the course is to help you build your confidence and remember/learn grammar and vocabulary. Also to perfect pronunciation. The long term goals of the course is fluency and understanding.
