About Haiderali
Hi, I’m an A-level student who tutors GCSE Maths, English, and Sciences. I’ve always had a strong interest in science, which is why I chose it at A-level. When I was revising for my own GCSE Science, I remember wishing I had someone who could explain topics to me in a way I could relate to, not just read from a textbook or rush through methods. That experience is a big reason why I want to teach science — I know how frustrating it can be when content doesn’t quite click, and I want to be the person who helps make it make sense. My focus is always on ensuring students understand the content, not just memorise it. I also tutor English, and although I didn’t fully understand it at first, I eventually found an approach that worked for me. Essay writing, analysis, and structure didn’t click straight away, but over time I learned how to break questions down and write answers examiners reward. Because I’ve been through this process myself, I can help students reach understanding much faster. Because I sat my GCSEs recently, I understand the pressure students face and what examiners are looking for. Being close in age allows me to communicate clearly with students and create a relaxed, supportive learning environment. My aim is to help students build confidence, gain real understanding, and improve their results.

My approach focuses on making sure students truly understand the content, rather than just memorising facts or methods. I believe that once a student understands why something works, they become more confident and perform far better in exams. As someone who sat my GCSEs recently, I can relate closely to the challenges students face. I understand the exam pressure, common mistakes, and what examiners are really looking for, which allows me to explain topics in a way that actually makes sense to students. I place a strong emphasis on clear communication and adapting my teaching style to suit each student. Being close in age helps me connect well with students, making lessons feel comfortable, engaging, and supportive rather than intimidating. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students build confidence, develop strong understanding, and feel in control of their learning.
