About Louise
My name is Louise Ryan, I am currently Year 12 student sitting the HSC at PLC Sydney (Croydon). I am passionate about English and literature, with vast knowledge about various aspects of Primary and High School English. I understand the difficulties students face in navigating this subject, and seek to impart my own knowledge and enthusiasm so that others may come to love English as much as I do, whilst achieving their academic goals. I can assure my students that I will conduct sessions with professionalism, patience and kindness, hoping to instill confidence and reassurance in my students' abilities.

In the past I have utilised teaching methods which ensure the student is comfortable, confident in my abilities and their academic needs are met. I am able to adjust such methods to cater for multiple learning styles and am open to suggestions on ways to improve and augment my methodology. I begin each lesson by asking my students if they have homework or assessments due for which they require my help or guidance, and ensure I am made aware of specific areas of content of which they find difficult.
I can tutor any year groups below Year 12, with any level of English. I am currently in my HSC year, completing English Advanced alongside English Extension 1, achieving top bands and rankings in both. I have tutored students whose ages have ranged from 12 years old to 17 years old. I can conduct 30 minute to 2 hour long sessions at the students'/parents' discretion.
