About Jordan
I have experience teaching GCSE maths between the ages of 16 and 18, but stopped tutoring during my time at university for the purpose on focusing on my own studies. Particularly during school holidays, I've given weekly maths lessons to students aged 14-16, typically for an hour or 2. I've formally taught 2 students before, whose parents got in touch with me when advertising myself on social media. Among the 2 girls who I was paid to teach, the first girl achieved an A at GCSE in year 11 and and the second achieved a B in year 10, and both were happy with their achievements.
With my 6 years of experience studying Philosophy, I'm very articulate and consider myself exceptional when it comes to explaining things in a clear and coherant manner.

When teaching anything, I think its important to firstly make sure that whoever you're teaching is comfortable with you and feels like they can always approach you with questions, no matter how simple they seem. It's always best to also have a conversation about where the individual wants to improve in the subject of their choice and what they want to get out of it as a result.
My lessons are geared toward students who are learning Maths or Philosophy at a KS2 or KS3 level, and with a lot of experience in these fields beyond those levels, I'd love to help inspire you to go as far as possible with your education too!
With my guitar lessons, I'm able to teach people with little to no experience, as well as people who are more intermediate and have some experience playing.
