About Krishna
I understand what it’s like to struggle academically. In Years 9 and 10, I wasn’t achieving the grades I wanted and found my exams challenging, not due to lack of effort but because I wasn't studying correctly. It was only when I completely redefined my study approach using specific, effective techniques and a structured plan that I was able to turn things around and achieve top results in both my mocks and final GCSEs.
This experience is what makes my tutoring different. I don’t just teach content, I show students how to study, how to stay consistent, and how to approach exams with confidence. My methods are practical, proven, and tailored to each student, especially those who feel stuck or unsure how to improve.
I aim to create a supportive but focused environment where students can build confidence, develop strong habits, and see real progress.

Approach to Tutoring
I combine strong subject knowledge with proven exam techniques and study strategies, tailoring each lesson to the student. I break down difficult topics into clear steps and teach students how to tackle exam questions using methods I’ve personally tested. I also focus on subject-specific revision techniques to help students study efficiently and independently.
Lesson Structure:
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, including explanation, guided practice, and exam-style questions to reinforce learning.
Experience & Qualifications:
I am a Year 12 student at St Paul’s School, achieving 11 Grade 9s at GCSE. I have also taken part in the Colet Mentoring Programme, volunteering to teach students abroad in Africa.
Who Lessons Are For:
I teach GCSE students, as well as those preparing for 11+ and 13+ exams, including students aiming for prestigious institutions. Lessons are suited to all abilities looking to improve performance and confidence.
