As someone who has been through the struggles of GCSE and A levels, I like to centre my lessons around the needs of my students and will adapt my style to what best suits the student. If I'm going to be your tutor, I would appreciate it if you told me your exam board and prior to each lesson, the topics you are struggling with.
I tend to base my lessons around what the student finds difficult, as to make sure they get to understand what they are struggling with. The students will need to bring in work they are finding difficult and I will help them progress by giving them similar problems to work on and direct them to some helpful source materials.
My teaching methods are tailored according to the need of the student. For science subjects i can start with the basic skeleton concepts and then layer it up with more details as we progress. This i am able to explain the very core concepts of science no matter what is the level of the student.
My teaching methodology is to find out the areas that are the most problematic in the syllabus and the areas needed to be covered and to break things down in the simplest form possible.I use real life analogies to explain things so that everyone gets that 'light bulb' moment.
I am a prospective Barts medical student who is finishing his last year of A levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. My experience in teaching involves running a chemistry clinic for many years at my school to teach and help GCSE chemistry students.
Teaching and learning targeted to your needs.
An initial class with me will go over the curriculum of the qualification you are studying for, and together we will identify your strengths and weaknesses (e.g. you can pick up algebra easily, but perhaps struggle a bit with calculus). We will also do a practice exam to see which areas need more work on. This will allow me to draw out a lesson plan for you for the coming weeks.
I am currently A-Level student studying Biology, Psychology and History and want to study Biomedical Sciences in University. I give lessons to primary and secondary to students on variety of subjects such as Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, History and Psychology.
I give lessons to children up to A levels. For A level and GCSE students, the lessons consist of first consolidating knowledge and then practising exam style questions. I understand the importance of following the particular specification and set regular homework in which both exam style questions need to be answered and consolidation of what I taught in lesson.
I like to teach in a unique fun way so it eases learning and helps those who struggle learning the old fashion way. I feel by understanding topics better they can be used in real life settings and this way not forgotten :) I work on each topic by breaking them down and getting through difficult sections first and creating revision notes as I go.
I would be really interested to talk to you if you want to improve your chemistry, physics, and biology. You can talk to me anytime if you have problems. I understand my subjects well and can help you consolidate your notes and key examinable topics. I am also fluent in Gujarati and Hindi so you can also approach me if you want to pick up any one of these as a foreign language.
I have graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a BSc Maths and Physics degree, achieving a 2:1 (Hons). I am an approachable, friendly tutor with over 4 years of experience with children of different abilities and backgrounds. I encourage and motivate students to reach their true potential and am able to employ a variety of teaching methods that best suits the child.
My teaching skills/techniques vary depending on the students strengths and weaknesses. For example a visual learner would work better with videos or step by step processes than a kinaesthetic learner as they may kind that using example is enough.
I am able to teach anyone up to A-Level standard. I am able to provide notes, practice questions and answer any queries you may have and suggest any links/reading that may help towards bettering your understanding. Maths, Biology and Chemistry are my strongest subjects.
I have a degree in chemical engineering, and a MSc and Ph.D. in Biochemistry. I teach Biology and Chemistry to A level and Mathematics and Physics up to GCSE level.

I am a second year undergraduate student at The University Of Nottingham, currently studying Biochemistry with molecular medicine. Biology is one of my deepest passions, however, I do enjoy chemistry just as much, as the world of science has kept me fascinated from an early age.
I teach by explaining each topic and individual aspect of the work and then following the work up with written questions on the subject, ensuring that the student knows how to do the work. then homework will be used to help the child stay on track with the work.
I am able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Maths from a primary school level up to a GCSE standard. I am going to study a combination of Sciences and Maths at university, so I am very passionate about, committed to, and able in these subjects.
I have a hard-working, responsible and a friendly persona. I am a Biochemistry Graduate from QMUL currently studying Neuroscience MSc at KCL. I specialise in teaching Sciences and Maths to GCSE students.
I am an enthusiastic, involved, and lively tutor that likes to keep his students interested by providing a fresh perspective on often challenging topics. I give classes to any students below A level, and I believe anyone is suitable for these classes.

I love Maths and Chemistry, took these subjects at A levels and got A's. While completing my forensic science course at university, I took up a part time job as a maths tutor and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have grown up teaching my little sisters and cousins maths and sciences, therefore I know I have the patience and knowledge to teach.
Hi, I'm Ronan. If you're looking for young, capable, and affordable maths or science tutor, or need somebody with first hand experience to help you prepare a strong university application, then look no further. Lessons will be largely focused on developing problem solving skills, by first building up a foundation of core concepts and subsequently working up to more challenging problems.
I approach each topic by making sure that the student is able to understand the different concepts and I do this through a series of worked examples which I go through with the student. Then I set a series of different questions at various stages of contrasting difficulty levels.
I'm an A-level student currently studying Biology, Chemistry, English Literature and Geography. I achieved 6A*s and 4As in my GCSEs. Therefore with tonnes of experience, I know exactly what it takes to excel at GCSEs.
A self driven teacher with an experience of over 6 years teaching Physics, Chemistry and Maths for GCSE level. Effective lesson planning and using innovative techniques to make learning easy and fun for the students. Abreast with latest advancement in Science, technology & teaching techniques. Comprehensive understanding of UK specific pedagogy and school systems.
I base my classes by building up on the knowledge the kids already have. I have certain mnemonics that help students understand and memorize the subject matter better. Using semantic learning and everyday examples to logically connect the problem to a more familiar scenario is one of my approaches that works very well with younger students.
My teaching method is based on the educational curriculum and I follow the contents in order. I try to mirror the topics that the kids cover in school so that there is no confusion for them. In some instances, depending on the children's learning abilities, I teach them topics ahead of the school's learning programme which allows my students to have a head start before everyone else.
