About Danyelle

Just a blues rock lifer who knows that scales only matter when they actually say something to the listener. My approach focuses on teaching you how to think about the instrument when I am not around to guide your hands. After 10 years of experience teaching 400 students, I have learned that when the standard examples fail to make sense, connecting the fretboard to outside concepts is the best way to get moving.

Graduating with a BMus Jazz Guitar degree from the University of North Texas gave me the tools to break down complex theory into practical shapes. Whether you are starting from zero or have been stuck halfway for years, I keep things simple and direct. My goal is to equip you with the mental framework to solve your own technical problems.

About the lesson

Hearing the grit of a well played chord progression against a custom backing track makes the theory click instantly. I create these custom tracks for my students so that soloing becomes a natural habit you can practice right in your own living room.

These tracks provide a structured space to test your electric technique and improvisation skills while keeping the fun high. My BMus Jazz Guitar background allows me to simplify power chords, chord transitions, and barre chords into manageable pieces that actually sound like music. We cover reading tabs, blues progressions, songwriting, and proper maintenance during our 60 minute sessions. Tuning, maintenance, and theory get treated as practical tools rather than chores.

You will get the hang of these concepts through steady, real world application that avoids the typical academic stuffiness. I make sure the lessons stay focused on the sounds you want to hear.
