About Rodolfo
Completing a PhD in high energy physics at an R1 university pushed me toward the classroom where I spent 12 years teaching undergraduate recitations. My transition into full-time tutoring allows me to focus on modern physics and complex topics like thermodynamics, optics, and waves and oscillations. I enjoy helping students master numerical problem solving and competition prep for JEE or NEET exams.
Students appreciate my practical approach to lab work and exam preparation strategies. Working with various individuals over the years makes the process of clarifying abstract physics concepts quite satisfying.

Many students feel overwhelmed when staring at a blank page during an exam while trying to recall complicated physics formulas. I guide you through the process of building physical intuition for the problem rather than just relying on rote memorization or blind algebraic manipulation.
My 12 years of teaching experience mean I have 10.0 distinct methods to explain how to interpret weekly numerical problem sets with worked solutions. I ensure that the mathematical steps remain logical and clear so that you gain confidence in your own derivation capabilities. We walk through the underlying principles together until the mechanics become intuitive and predictable. How would you like to tackle your next physics set to ensure you grasp the underlying logic?
