About Thomas
My name is Tom and I have been teaching science in secondary schools for over 15 years. My journey has taken me from a science graduate from university, to a science teacher, to a head of sixth form and now a head of a science faculty. I have grown as a person and a professional every year of teaching and I'm really thankful for the range of different experiences I had in my time in different schools.
I have enabled (in the context as a teacher, tutor and school leader) students to achieve the highest grades and enter the most prestigious courses and careers in the world. But I also take just as much pride supporting those students who lack confidence in their ability, and achieving a passing grade when at times it seemed impossible.
