About Mel
Hi all, I am 29 with over 10 years' experience teaching English & Spanish. It was one of my first jobs straight out of college. I have taught in schools, private lessons, businesses, forums & more. I have also worked as an interpreter. Whatever your needs, I can adapt. I was born in Birmingham UK then moved to Valencia ES where I studied all through to university (UA). I love to sing, hiking, running and retaining the energy with the great food I cook in the kitchen! There is lots to know about me just as I am sure there is lots to know about you so feel free to ask. I look forward to getting to know you all! In our first lesson, I provide a detailed assessment of my student which allows me to put together a thorough study plan. Every student is different and I take care to tailor everything to their needs. Following this, every lesson is carefully prepared, usually covering a mix of required subjects (varied depending on your desired outcome, maths, law, banking, etc.). I discuss the outcome of each lesson with parents so that everyone is clear on progress. As I have over 10 years' experience I am able to create test papers and questions that are tailored to the student; these are normally sold by other companies for hundreds of pounds. These are provided to you as part of my service. Grammar is fundamental, pronunciation is crucial, but so is your personality. Getting comfortable enough to make mistakes and bounce back is what will get you ahead of the game. If it's preparing for a test, job interview, moving country or just going on holiday and wanting to talk with ease, let's work hard and get you out there with excellent English or Spanish.
