About Charlie
Hello & Namaste, I'm Charlie, a 34-year-old Yoga Teacher from Manchester UK. I came to yoga around 7 years ago. I was tired and burnt out from working long and unsociable hours as a chef whilst also running several of my own businesses on the side. Eventually, my body started to tell me I can't do this forever so I thought I'd give yoga a go. Like most people that come to yoga for the first time I thought it would be a good stretch. I immediately recognized that it's so much more. Not only did the practice soften the aches and pains in my body but it quieted my mind and allowed my heart to be more gentle and compassionate. The reason I became a teacher was to help others feel the same benefits as I did back then and to also deepen my own practice whilst simultaneously changing career. I believe that yoga is for everyone. If you can breathe you can do yoga. Come and flow with me and learn how this beautiful and ancient practice can help you in more ways than you can imagine. I take an intuitive approach to each class I teach. I will prepare a creative flow to offer to the students but still remain open to alter the sequence to cater for all levels and abilities. Making Yoga accessible is at the core of my approach. Guiding with breath work while encouraging students to listen to their bodies and what it's telling them I aim to develop a body-led practice that's anchored to the breath, cultivating a connection of mind, body and soul. Length of lessons can range from 45mins - 90mins depending on the style of class. My lessons are for all levels and ages.
