About Lavanya
As someone who has experienced the benefits of yoga for both my physical and mental health, I am confident that personalized yoga sessions can improve the overall quality of life for almost everybody. We are living in a fast-paced world, often coping with a lot of stressors. Yoga gives an opportunity to slow down and simultaneously be active - and my goal is to help learners use postures, movement and breath as a tool for wellness.

When it comes to working on an individual basis, I personalize the classes to suit the specific goals of the practitioner. With a good understanding of their present capability level and needs, I work on expansion of their potential. I believe that even while respecting limitations and/or health challenges, there is so much to be explored! During group sessions, although I cannot personalize the class plans, I give modifications and variations for different levels so that everyone can feel challenged to an appropriate degree. Both personal and group sessions involve a variety of asanas, breathwork and micro meditation practices. Also, keep in mind that yoga’s benefits go beyond just the body being able to get into different shapes - so my guidance through pranayama and yoga nidra practice can offer you rejuvenation and relief from stress.
