My primary focus remains on simple, effective ways for you to write real music. I guide adult learners and aspiring artists through the nuances of genre conventions in pop, country, folk, and R&B.
Editing and rewriting lyrics becomes a collaborative game between us. You will find that finding your own voice is a process rather than a static goal. I show you how to build imagery and detail into your lines. Songwriting is a craft.
I break down complex concepts into actionable steps for complete beginners and hobbyists. We work on title and concept development until the idea feels solid. Harmony basics and melody writing are tools we shape together. I ensure you have a repeatable process for every future track."
