About Frederico
He holds a PhD in Physics from the Federal University of Alagoas (2003), a Masters in Condensed Matter Physics from the Federal University of Alagoas (2005), a PhD in Physics from the University of Lisbon (2013) and a postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of Alagoas (2015). I have experience in research in the field of Physics, mathematical methods and numerical computation, with emphasis on Quantum Optics and Quantum Optics, working mainly in the following subjects: solitons, photonic crystals, dissipative systems with PT symmetry, nonlinear dynamics and numerical methods. I have been acting as a teacher in basic courses in Physics and Engineering since 2013.

My teaching method is based on free conversation and that makes the student think about the issues and problems in a modern way. In addition to the traditional classroom, I assist the student in the use of modern technologies as tools to solve problems in cell phones and tutorials, so that the student can continue his studies easily under my guidance even after class. I respond to doubts in a creative way, with associations to the world of young people today: communication technologies, social networks, cell phones, computers, video-games ... All this is Physics and Mathematics! My students have fun learning.
