About Clyde
I'm a 19 year old Maths student at Durham University. I've been with students of all abilities, some of which had been previously failing the year, so I hope no matter your ability you will feel comfortable to let me help you! As a child I used to hate Maths and I used to always struggle with it in high school, after failing a mock in high school, I turned it around by approaching Maths from a more entertaining perspective.
I like to start my lessons with a relaxed conversation for a few minutes before we tackle a seemingly impossible problem. Our sessions will focus on much easier questions first, gradually leading up to the big problem to show the thought processes behind how we think the way we do in Maths. We also will cover past papers regularly to determine what topics your child needs help with the most.
My lessons are available for all ages and all abilities up to and including A-Level. I've tutored Maths at A-Level for 1 year and in the end ended up with 4 A*'s in college, 2 in Maths and Further Maths.
I understand Maths is not easy. Do not feel intimidated. I am here to help!
