About Maycie
I am a 3rd year Pre-Medicine student who LOVES mathematics and science. I have been tutoring students of all grades (K-College) for five years. In addition to help with coursework, I offer ACT preparation sessions. I have created/coded my own ACT curriculum to help give students a better idea of what to expect on the ACT exam. Another thing I take pride in doing for my students is creating additional worksheets/assignments when needed for extra practice. Lastly, I offer digital(zoom) classes/sessions as well!

My teaching method is purposeful and strategic. I base my classes/sessions on regaining the confidence in the students work all while teaching them something new. I believe that in order to learn something, you first have to have confidence in yourself. Additionally, not all students learn the same, and I withhold a multitude of strategies and methods to help each student learn in a way that makes sense to them. I am here for you along every step of the journey!
