A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by focused instruction on a specific skill (such as fractions, algebra, essay structure, or text evidence). We then practice together through guided examples, and I gradually shift responsibility to the student as they improve. I end each session with a recap of key takeaways and a clear plan for what to practice before the next meeting.
