Hello! I’m Angelie Lucasan, a BS Accountancy graduate with a strong foundation in Mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. I am passionate about helping students understand Mathematics in a clear, simple, and encouraging way.

My approach as a tutor
Hi! I’m Angelie Lucasan, a BS Accountancy graduate who enjoys helping students understand Mathematics through simple, practical, and step-by-step explanations.
My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and learner-centered. Instead of simply giving the answer, I guide students through the process so they understand why a solution works. I use easy-to-understand examples, visual explanations when helpful, practice exercises, and real-life situations to make mathematical concepts easier to remember.
A typical lesson
A lesson may begin with a short review of the student's previous knowledge, followed by an introduction to the topic and a simple explanation of the key concepts. I then demonstrate examples step-by-step before allowing the student to try similar problems with my guidance. We finish with practice exercises and a quick review of areas that need more improvement.
What sets me apart
My Accountancy background has strengthened my analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I adjust my explanations according to their level and learning needs. My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer but also to help them become more confident and independent in solving problems.
