About Jeri
With more than 6 years of experience as a Mathematics tutor, I have worked extensively with Secondary, O-Level, IP, JC/A-Level, IB, and first-year university students. I have successfully supported students in improving both their academic performance and confidence by using engaging, structured, and student-focused teaching methods.
My approach combines strong conceptual teaching with practical exam preparation. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and lesson techniques according to individual learning styles and academic needs. I focus on helping students fully understand mathematical concepts instead of relying purely on memorization.
Throughout my experience, I have taught a wide range of topics including algebra, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and advanced mathematical problem-solving. I guide students through challenging questions using clear explanations, systematic methods, and effective strategies that improve accuracy and critical thinking.

My mathematics classes focus on building deep understanding, precision, and independent problem-solving abilities for Secondary, O-Level, IP, JC/A-Level, IB, and first-year university students. Every session is organized to make mathematics more approachable, engaging, and less intimidating for learners of different abilities.
I adapt my teaching methods to match each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences. Concepts are explained in a clear and systematic manner, allowing students to connect ideas logically and solve questions with greater confidence. Lessons cover essential topics such as algebra, functions, calculus, probability, vectors, trigonometry, and mathematical reasoning.
To maximize improvement, I incorporate step-by-step demonstrations, guided practice, and challenging application questions. Students receive continuous feedback and practical techniques for handling school assignments, assessments, and examinations effectively. I also emphasize accuracy, structured working methods, and efficient problem-solving strategies that help students perform under timed conditions.
My goal is not only to improve grades but also to strengthen students’ confidence and analytical mindset. I create a patient and encouraging learning atmosphere where students can comfortably ask questions, overcome difficulties, and gradually master mathematical concepts with consistency and motivation.
