About Lovisa
Hi! I’m a high school student who’s really strong in math and science, especially Algebra 1, Algebra 2, biology, and anatomy and physiology. I know these subjects can feel confusing at first, so I focus on breaking things down step by step and explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. I’m patient, and always happy to answer questions, even if it takes a few tries. My goal is to help you feel more confident and less stressed when learning.

I teach by breaking concepts into simple steps and explaining the "why" behind each problem. A typical lesson would start with reviewing what the student knows, then working through examples together before practicing with guidance. I adjust how I explain things based off how I notice that the student learns better. What sets me apart is that I recently learned this material myself, so I understand common mistakes and how to explain concepts clearly. My lessons are for middle school and early high school students studying math or science, including Algebra 1 and introductory Algebra 2.
