My teaching approach for Algebra is focused on building analytical thinking and problem-solving skills through structured learning. I cover linear programming in detail, including graphing linear inequalities, feasible regions, objective functions, and optimization problems with real-world applications like profit maximization and cost minimization. I teach absolute value equations and inequalities with step-by-step methods, including graphical interpretations and piecewise definitions. I cover piecewise functions, their graphs, domain, range, and applications in real-life scenarios such as tax brackets and shipping costs. I use case studies from business and economics to show how algebra is used in decision-making. I break down each concept into clear steps and provide plenty of practice problems. I use visual aids like graphs and number lines to make concepts easier to understand. I provide detailed notes, formula sheets, and practice worksheets for each topic. I assign homework that includes both routine and challenging problems. I conduct weekly quizzes to track progress and identify weak areas. I also provide tips for avoiding common mistakes and managing exam time effectively. I maintain a progress log for each student to ensure consistent improvement. I also conduct doubt-clearing sessions at the end of each topic to address any lingering questions. I connect each topic to its practical applications so you see the relevance of what you are learning. For example, I show how linear programming is used in logistics and supply chain management, and how piecewise functions model real-world pricing structures.
