My teaching approach for Algebra is built on pattern recognition and logical reasoning. I cover arithmetic and geometric sequences and series in detail, including formulas for nth term, sum of n terms, and infinite geometric series with applications in finance and population studies. I teach the binomial theorem, including binomial expansion, general term, middle term, and applications in probability and approximations. I cover mathematical induction, including the principle of induction and its applications in proving statements related to sequences, divisibility, and inequalities. I use step-by-step derivations and provide plenty of practice problems to build confidence. I use real-world examples like loan calculations, population growth, and probability problems to show the practical applications of these concepts. I provide detailed notes, formula sheets, and practice worksheets for each topic. I assign homework that includes both theoretical and numerical problems. I conduct weekly quizzes to track progress and identify areas needing improvement. I also provide tips for solving problems quickly and accurately, especially in exam settings. I maintain a progress log for each student and adjust my teaching pace based on individual needs. My goal is to help you master these foundational algebraic concepts.
