I have a huge passion for math and I want others to be comfortable with math so that it doesn't feel like an untouchable subject. I care about alleviating math anxiety as well, just as a counselor or therapist might approach it. Anyone can elevate their skills with math. It just takes insight and persistence.

My method of tutoring math is tailored to the needs of the student. Initial sessions will be set up to find out where the student specifically needs help and a plan will be created to possibly revisit earlier math concepts and to create a set of problems for the student to work on (with me and on their own time).
If needed, my main goal is to help alleviate math anxiety and improve the confidence in students when they work on problems. It is important to not only ask a student where they are having trouble, but also how they are feeling when they reach a moment of being 'stumped'.
Everyone can push their mathematical skills to the next level. It just requires the right amount of introspection and patience with oneself.
I am comfortable tutoring all levels of math for any age:
