I taught for 26 yea, both in the military and civilian worlds. My thousands of students range from the illiterate to the college educated. I have succeeded in getting many of my students scholarships, some receiving full scholarships.

I tailor my classes to fit the learning style the student possesses. I believe that you have to instill a desire to learn, then and only then can you truly educate the individual. I employ the use of the Cornell Notes System in class . Using the Cornell System, the student always has a clear understanding of what is expected and the tool with which to meet that expectation . The result is that the student builds the confidence needed to handle greater challenges.

Details
My rate does not vary because I believe that every student, not matter what his or her abilities are, deserves the same level of attention. Missing any class is a serious matter. The disruption to the learning process can snowball if the student misses class. An exception is a medical or family emergency, Failure to notify me via email of the circumstances will result in the student paying the full fee. If the student is in the hospital but able to receive instruction, I will bring the lesson to him or her.
