Anna is here to help add marks, subtract worry and multiply confidence!

I approach each topic by gaging how much my student understands to begin with then seeing specific areas that need work and then tackling these together. I will provide lots of questions for the student to complete as I believe that practice and repetition is the best way to gain more confidence with any subject

I teach maths. For the level(s)BTEC, adult education.
I give lessons in person, at my home.
I give lessons by Webcam.
I am logged in, this week.

Anna's Experience

I have experience in teaching primary school kids Spanish as part of my senior school's outreach programme and am now keen to impart knowledge in the mathematics area. I have been told that I am very patient with those who are learning and that I make lessons fun and engaging

Music is my main form of relaxation and I have attained grade 8 in both piano and flute and grade 5 in singing, and perform annually with my school’s orchestra in the Birmingham Symphony Hall. For the past six years I have been a member of the school hockey team, and have represented the West Midlands on several occasions. Last year I took part in the National Citizen Service for three weeks, where the second week involved daily visits to a care home for adults with Autism. I spent time interacting with, and understanding more about the communication difficulties of the residents. Upon being touched by their stories, in the third week, I was the team director of our campaign to raise awareness about mental health disorders.
