About Grayson

I graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Physics from the University of Miami and have five years of tutoring experience in South Florida. As a lab assistant for Thermodynamics courses, I crafted hands-on experiments—like calorimetry demos—that I adapt into illustrative lesson snippets. I hold a Florida Physics Teaching Certificate and offer weekday and weekend sessions. Outside tutoring, I volunteer at the local planetarium, conducting “Stellar Beginner” nights for families.

About the lesson

I lead comprehensive Physics sessions—covering mechanics (kinematics, Newton’s laws), Thermodynamics (first/second law, entropy, Carnot cycles), and introductory Astrophysics (stellar classification, exoplanet detection). We bring each topic to life using interactive PhET simulations and Python-based data analysis (e.g., fitting planetary orbital parameters). Assignments follow AP, IB, and first-year college exam styles, honing both conceptual understanding and numerical dexterity in problems such as calculating central potentials or predicting blackbody curves.
