About Tiffany
I have spent eight years teaching biology, working closely with 380 students ranging from nervous beginners to more confident candidates preparing seriously for exams. My background combines formal science training with a genuine, lasting enthusiasm for making biology feel like a connected story rather than a disconnected list of facts. I am warm and encouraging throughout every lesson, and I take real pride in helping students who assumed science was simply not for them at all. Many students tell me biology finally makes sense once they genuinely see how the different systems fit together as a whole. I connect every biology topic to a real system the student can genuinely picture, whether that is the human body or a familiar local ecosystem, since concrete images consistently stick far better than isolated terminology alone. Diagrams are drawn together during lessons rather than simply shown ready made, since the physical act of building a diagram noticeably improves retention over time. Practice questions follow immediately after each new concept, keeping the gap between learning and genuine testing as short as possible throughout every session. I review homework carefully at the start of every session so misunderstandings never quietly pile up unnoticed over successive weeks. Past paper practice increases gradually as the exam date approaches, building comfort with timing rather than causing unnecessary early stress.
