About Matthew

I am a dedicated practising artist and educator based in London. I have graduated from the number one art college in the world (The Royal College of Art) and have helped others to do the same. Applicants I've worked with have been accepted into UAL, The RCA, The Slade, and The Ruskin School of Art!
I am passionate about artists realising their potential and getting the best opportunities and education they possibly can. I believe my experience, expertise, and educational background will help you achieve your goals and pursue your dream career as an artist.

About the lesson

I offer bespoke fine art application and portfolio tuition tailored to you and the specific art schools/colleges/universities you're applying to.
I have graduated from The University of the Arts London and The Royal College of Art, the top art college in the world. I have successfully tutored students into art schools such as The Slade, The Royal College of Art, and The Ruskin School of Art in Oxford.

As your tutor I will:
-Establish what art schools are looking for in candidates.

-Review, curate and edit your portfolio to fit the criteria and maximise your potential for being accepted.

-Hone your art English writing and academic application writing including artist statement, bio and contextualisation. I will strengthen your application in line with the ethics and values of the particular schools you're applying to.

-Review your application and provide honest, valuable feedback and improvements.

-I will help with the interview process if you reach this stage, providing techniques and potential interview questions that you will be asked. I will help with answering these questions, the language you should use and with speaking with articulation.
