About Isabella
Hello!
My name is Isabella. I am an undergraduate student, finishing my bachelors of science at Maastricht University. I am focused in Environmental Sciences and minor in Chemistry. I am in an interdisciplinary science school, giving me a wide range of scientific background ranging from Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Botany, Ecology, Cell Biology, and more.
I have tutored many friends and classmates throughout my educational career. I have tutored people through AP/IB Chemistry and Biology as well as regular Chemistry courses and have a special skill of translating complex ideas and texts into easily understandable metaphors.

To be able to really understand the content material, each tutoring lesson will be tailored to begin with an introduction into the course material of the topic for this lesson. Here, I will run over the basics of the content and can explain concepts further depending on your understanding. Then, the latter part of the tutoring session will involve going over practice problems together and working through the problems step by step. Each lesson you'll take with a note sheet that entails the introduction to content material, as well as the solved problems so that you can refer back to them in the future.
The lessons are tailored to you! If you want to do an hour of practice problems, that's what we can do! If you rather me go through the chapters of a textbook and explain what they mean in plain English I can also do that. Whatever suits your needs and learning style best is how we will work our lessons. I ask that you send me the worksheets and textbook/course material in advance prior to our lessons so that I am able to prepare with what you need to learn.
The typical length of a lesson is 45 min- 1 hour of tutoring and are tailored towards high school students and introductory university students.
