About Ishani
With a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science and more than 8 years of tutoring experience, I guide middle school students through the foundations of algebra. I help learners who struggle with linear equations, polynomial expressions, and basic functions. I know these topics can feel overwhelming at first. That’s why my lessons use simple puzzles and pattern-based activities. Real-world examples make the content feel relevant. I want students to see that math isn’t just numbers—it’s logic and creativity. My step-by-step approach helps break down tough problems. I encourage students to think aloud and explore new strategies. I’ve supported learners with very different learning needs. I’m patient, flexible, and always ready to adjust my methods. Many of my students arrive with math anxiety, so building confidence is a priority. I help them feel safe making mistakes. By the end, they often surprise themselves.
