About Alison
With over five years of tutoring experience and a BSc in Space and Planetary Science, I guide students to success in Physics. I specialize in preparing high school learners for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. Practical experiments are central to my teaching because they bring concepts to life. Derivations are explained step by step, so students understand the “why” behind formulas. I enjoy teaching Mechanics, helping learners master motion and forces with clarity. Electricity is another area where I make difficult ideas more approachable. Waves are explored with practical examples, from sound vibrations to light interference. Past papers form a large part of my lessons, developing exam confidence and technique. I believe every student has unique learning needs, and I adapt lessons to suit them. My teaching style is interactive, encouraging questions and curiosity. Physics is about understanding the world, not just passing exams. With support, even tough concepts can become clear.
