Background knowledge in English literature (A-level) tutoring Upto GCSE and A-level level
Methodology
In terms of methodology I do something that fits the student I’m tutoring as with individuals there is no one size fits all everyone learns differently and I aim to put the message across in whatever way necessary. However, there are things that remain consistent, essay practice and writing them as that is a crucial factor when it comes to English exams, as well as ensuring they are familiar with their texts. I always ask what they are comfortable with and what they would like to work on and what they feel they are struggling with.
Experience
I have completed 3 A-levels; biology, chemistry and English literature. I doing biomedical science at university. Overall have a great passion for English literature and everything it entails. The subject is so diverse, and I want everyone to see it’s beauty and how amazing it is, fall in love with writing essays.
