About Sami

Working hard but still not getting the grades? I’ve been there.

I’m Sami, a second-year medical student at Barts and The London. I achieved 9 GCSEs at grades 9–7, then got Cs in my A-level mocks. I hadn’t stopped working. I just didn’t know how to turn what I knew into marks. So I learnt how examiners think, practised past papers against the mark schemes, and went on to get AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and a place to study Medicine.

That turnaround is why I teach. Better grades don’t come from being “naturally clever”. They come from technique, and technique can be taught. I’ll show you exactly where your marks are going and how to win them back.

I’m DBS checked. Message me to book your free 30-minute first lesson.

Every lesson has one aim: more marks in your exam.

My method: every lesson follows my 30/30/40 approach.

30% content: we go through the topic you find hardest until it makes sense.
30% worked examples: we solve exam-style questions together, step by step.
40% past papers: you answer real exam questions and we mark them against the official mark scheme, so you learn exactly what examiners reward.

Your first 30 minutes are free: we'll pinpoint the topics costing you the most marks, and every lesson after that is planned around them.

Lesson length: 1 hour, with 2-hour sessions available.

Qualifications and experience: Barts medical student with AAA at A-level (Biology, Chemistry and Maths) and 9 GCSEs at grades 9–7. Tutoring GCSE and A-level students since May 2026. DBS checked.

Who it's for: GCSE and A-level students aged 14–18, studying AQA, Edexcel or OCR.

Where: online, or in person across London. I can also communicate with students in Arabic.
