My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Style My name is Awais, and my approach to tutoring is student-centred, structured, and analytical. My teaching focuses on helping learners not only understand academic concepts but also develop critical thinking, argument-building, and intellectual confidence. I adapt my style to each student’s learning pace, goals, and background, ensuring lessons remain engaging, respectful, and effective. I combine clear conceptual explanations with real-world examples and case studies, particularly from political science, public administration, international relations, and governance. I also support students with essays, assignments, presentations, and exam preparation, offering step-by-step guidance on structure, analysis, and proper academic referencing. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with the option of shorter or extended sessions depending on the student’s needs, including focused revision or in-depth research and thesis support. I hold a BA (Hons) in Political Science and am currently completing my Master of Public Administration in the UK.
