My Teaching Method and Techniques (AP Biology)
My AP Biology classes are designed to help students master both the content and the scientific thinking skills required by the College Board. Rather than memorizing facts, students learn to analyze data, interpret experiments, make predictions, and connect biological concepts across different units.
I use:
1. Inquiry-based learning and scientific investigations
2. AP-style multiple-choice and free-response practice
3. Data analysis from graphs, tables, and experimental results
4. Visual learning through diagrams, animations, and models
5. Concept mapping to connect topics across the curriculum
6. Regular retrieval practice and cumulative review
