About Autumn
My passion for biology began with fascination for how living organisms function and adapt. This interest led me to complete a B.Sc in Biological Sciences followed by an M.Sc in Human Biology. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students through complex topics by emphasizing clarity, structure, and thoughtful explanation.
I believe biology should be taught as a connected story rather than isolated facts. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace, ensuring understanding grows naturally. I support students through patience, encouragement, and consistent feedback.
Outside teaching, I stay connected with biological research and health sciences to bring relevance into lessons. Teaching biology is rewarding because I see learners develop confidence, curiosity, and the ability to think scientifically about the living world.

Biology becomes meaningful when learners see how small processes connect to larger living systems. My lessons explore cell biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, and human systems through clear explanations, diagrams, and applied examples. I focus on helping students understand relationships rather than memorize facts, encouraging curiosity and active engagement. Concepts are broken into manageable ideas that build logically, helping learners feel grounded and confident.
Lessons are structured to grow with the learner. Beginners focus on cellular structure, basic biological processes, and foundational terminology. Intermediate learners explore systems integration, genetic inheritance, and physiological mechanisms. Advanced learners work on data interpretation, experimental reasoning, and application-based questions. Regular revision, questioning, and discussion help reinforce understanding and long-term retention.
Biology lessons also build observation, critical thinking, and scientific communication skills. Students learn how to analyze information, interpret results, and explain biological concepts clearly. My goal is to help learners feel capable of understanding life sciences deeply, developing both academic confidence and genuine interest in how living systems function.
