About Abbi
I am a current PhD student in the field of biology studying the role of gut bacteria on healthy ageing, with a specific focus on changes in nutrient absorption.
Prior to this, I received a first class undergraduate degree at Exeter University in Biological sciences with a specialism in cell and molecular biology, but covering all fields including ecology, plant sciences, genetics and molecular biology. I also received an A at A-level and an A* at GCSE, so know what it takes to get the grades at these levels.

I am passionate about Biology having pursued both my undergraduate degree, and now a PhD in the field, and I hope to share my passion with my students.
I teach all levels up to undergraduate, and prefer to help students understand the content of their studies, although I do offer help with individual assignments.
As every student learns in a different way, I am flexible in my teaching method, however I offer the first hour free so I can work out the needs of the student, and we can form an action-plan together.
Generally I will prepare material for each class which will break each section down into smaller, easily digestible chunks, and then relate these back to the big picture.
Now is a great time to begin tutoring, to ensure you understand and get the most out of your course throughout the academic year, to reduce the stress of exams
