About Dayna
My name is Dayna, and I am majoring in Biology at the University of Massachusetts in Boston. My fall semester will be held online; therefore, I will be in Chicago hoping to tutor students struggling with their science or math classes.
Unfortunately, I have little to no experience with tutoring, however, I used to always help my fellow classmates with their homework and studying. I scored well on my AP Biology and Environmental Science Exams. I have also competed in the citywide science fair for three years in a row. I have taken IB Biology (2 years), AP Biology (1 year), AP Environmental Science (1 year), and Physical Science 121 (1 semester). Science has been my passion for a long time, and I would like to try and inspire others to learn more about it and understand the world around us.

First, I will identify what exactly my student is struggling with, and how far they've gotten in regards to understanding their material. Once I figure out what he/she is having trouble with, we will go over material so that they may get a better understanding. I have three Biology textbooks that I will refer to and explain with. This is how I plan to start off, but every student is different. If one strategy does not work, we can always work around it and find what's best for the student.
