About Stephen
I am a recently retired scientist and university professor who has taught biology, genetics, and botany for a number of years.
My research work includes setting up and querying (using Perl and SQL) large online medicinal plants databases at USDA, writing Perl and SQL queries of plant genome data at National Agricultural Library (USDA), and creating visualization and query tools for large scale human, animal, and bacterial genome comparisons at NIH, TGen, and NAU.
